WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE STYLE?

Although having been involved in the “fitness lifestyle” since the age of 14, the last 10 years spent in corporate jobs, and also the daily routine performing as a family father distanced me so much from healthy living. It not only affected the way I looked, but even more the way I felt. One day I realised that even though I have extensive experience and knowledge about training and eating right, I needed a professional advice to give me a clear structure to make healthy lifestyle again reality for me and the entire family. But this time in a sustainable and long term way.

WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FROM THE PROGRAM?

Mainly professional advice on the quantity and quality of foods I need to consume to achieve my fitness goals. But Work Week Foodie proved to provide far beyond that. I got so much more out of the program! I have learned to love the  food I prepare, as I can rely on it that it doesn’t only deliver the results I expect, but most of all it tastes awesome!

WHAT WAS YOUR MAJOR LIMITING FACTOR IN ACHIEVING LONG TERM SUCCESS?

I guess the main reason was the lack of structure and planning, which starts from  shopping, and ordering the right foods and supplements, and continues with preparing and cooking in advance! When you have your food ready really the only thing to stay lean and healthy is to eat it. Works for me!

THE KEY TO SUSTAIN LONG TERM HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR YOU?

Getting a structure, which is applicable for all the aspects of ‘Fit Life’. From having a clear plan, making sure to have all ingredient to finally cooking, and doing it all in a fashion that does nor interfere with the daily challenges. All that is where I see Work Week Foodie very helpful, from receiving weekly recipes with ingredients together with the instructions and tips. And it covers it all even ideas for snacks and mini meals. Once you learn these you can just use them as panels to build your own family food plan!

THE BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT SO FAR?

Apart from obviously a leaner and stronger me, the most I got from the program is that I have learned once and forever how to shop, cook, prepare, health nutritious, AND great tasting food , in a way that is not only doable with a busy schedule, but also sustainable for the long term!

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST SURPRISE FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN WORK WEEK FOODIE CHALLENGE PROGRAM?

Learned to love Chickpeas-:) and actually all legumes, and many other previously unknown to me foods. I ALWAYS read the nutrition facts labels on ANYTHING I buy. I have even learned not to enter in certain aisles in the grocery store to avoid bad choices! Most of all I have learned and built a habit to weekly cook healthy and most importantly great tasting sweet treats, which even my kids love!
