Fit-Friendly Tartiflette

OK this one is not the healthiest so do not make it if you are working hard for your 6-pack to emerge. However it is a meal I prepared during last Xmas holiday and inspired by my French friend Amandine. It was yummy big time and I do not think I managed to catch all the yumminess on the pics. But if you ever feel like having a RICH meal on a cold winter evening especially after an exhausting skiing session you have to try it out.

Let’s get grilling Foodies!

  • 200 grams bacon, thinly cubed
  • 200 grams Reblechon cheese, slices
  • 5-6 roughly chopped shallots
  • 1 kg potatoes, sliced and cooked

Prep Instructions

  1. Heat up 1 teaspoon of olive oil on a non-stick skillet.
  2. Fry thinly cubed bacon and chopped shallots.
  3. Cook sliced potatoes in slightly salted water.
  4. In a lasagna dish place a layer of  potatoes, bacon and shallots and cover with slices of Reblechon cheese. Repeat until you run out of ingredients.
  5. Place the dish in an oven and cook for 30 minutes.
  6. TIP: You may be wondering how fit friendly this recipe is. Well I used much less cheese than the original recipe.
