BLUEBERRIES AND REDCURRANT OATS ON-THE-GO

Colors, texture, consistency. All those attributes matter when I plan my meals. This is the only way to make sure that your meals will taste great. Remember that we also eat with our eyes. Have you ever tried a healthy meal which was totally boring and although physically you were full but still felt hungry? Yep, I know the feeling. It is because if it is boring and bland you will still reach out for processed foods which have been engineered to taste good but not provide too much nutritional value. I present to you an absolutely simple, colourful and healthy oat meal.

Ingredients

  • Half a cup of rolled oats.
  • Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Half a cup of blueberries and redcurrant (fresh)
  • Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 5 raisins
  • 2 tbsp of vanilla protein (optional)

Prep Instructions

  1. Mix yogurt with vanilla extract, raisins and protein if you are using it.
  2. Place the oats in small Mason jars or your meal boxes of choice.
  3. Top it with the yogurt mixture, sprinkle with cinnamon and place the fruits on top.
  4. Store overnight in a fridge.
  5. Before eating it mix well all ingredients.
