Pancetta Broad White Beans

Pancetta Broad White Beans

A very satisfying and filling meal. It consists of cooked white beans and thin slices of Italian Pancetta and some veggies of your choice. I chose spicy green paprika sliced thinly. Let’s get rolling Foodies!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of broad white beans (canned or cooked)
  • 4 slices of good quality pancetta (Italian smoked bacon)
  • 1 small green bell pepper (I used a spicy one) cut into thin slices
  • A bunch of fresh chives, finely chopped

Prep Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick pan and start browning pancetta cut into 2 cm pieces.
  2. When pancetta is a little browned add the beans and chopped bell peppers. Mix well and saute for another 5 minutes on high heat.
  3. Set the heat on low and add chopped chives.
