PRAWNS AND VEGGIES TOASTED WRAP

When I have no idea what to cook I mix and match what’s left in the fridge. Then wraps come in very handy. Basically sky and yeah your fridge content is the limit. You can slice and dice these babies. Think outside of the box, go out there, be a dreamer – dream of some tasty wraps. And yeah you can always follow up WorkWeekFoodie recipes.

Let’s get wrapping Foodies!

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat large size tortillas
  • Salad mix (chopped white cabbage, baby spinach etc.)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4 cup yogurt mixed with 1/2 thinly chopped garlic
  • 150 grams prawns
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle in adobe
  • Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Prep Instructions

  1. On a medium size skillet heat up oil, add prawns and chipotle with adobe sauce and sauté for 15 minutes until nice browned with not much liquid.
  2. Heat up tortillas either in a microwave or on a bigger skillet (30 seconds and no more).
  3. Start piling up on the tortillas all the goodies starting with the veggies and followed by prawns and sauces garlic and Sriracha.
  4. Wrap them up nicely and place on a non-stick skillet for some browning on low heat.
  5. Then wrap the browned wraps in foil and cut in half. Serve immediately with some amazing tasting water. Always keep it healthy but tasty and definitely never boring. So if you are bored with plain water add some lemon Foodies!
