RED AND WHITE CABBAGE SALAD

RED AND WHITE CABBAGE SALAD

What else would you want? Low in calories and in cholesterol and full of fiber. This salad goes perfectly with any protein of your choice. Let’s get chopping Foodies!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 medium size white cabbage
  • 1/2 medium size red cabbage
  • Chives, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1¬†teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1¬†teaspoon balsamic wine vinegar
  • 2¬†teaspoons French grain mustard
  • Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pinch of walnuts (optional)

Prep Instructions

  1. Chop cabbage and place in a bigger bowl.
  2. Prepare the seasoning. In a small bowl mix olive oil, sesame oil, balsamic wine vinegar and French whole grain mustard.
  3. Add the seasoning to chopped cabbage, mix carefully to nicely and evenly spread it with the chopped leaves.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste and top with Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce.
