Simple Vegetables Salad

Don’t fooood around Foodies and prepare this salad. Dig deep in your fridge and you will most certainly find these ingredients. If you don’t have them, you will surely get all of them in your local grocery round the corner. Summer coming so time to invest in fresh greens for the best salads. Let’s get rolling Foodie!


  • 1-2 fresh cucumbers
  • 6-8 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 big red bell pepper
  • A bowl of fresh spinach leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • Red pepper chili flakes (spicy so as always optional)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar

Prep Instructions

  1. Wash all veggies under cold water and cleans well.
  2. Chop all ingredients in your preferred size chunks.
  3. Place chopped veggies in a bowl, season with spices and sprinkle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  4. Mix well and it’s ready.
  5. Pair it with your favorite protein. You can combine it with grilled chicken or turkey breast slices. Or like I did the other day with cooked egg whites or whole eggs.

You can create a totally vegetarian but complete meal with this salad. Just add 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa or shredded tofu. Actually you can combine the same salad with different proteins and you come up with different meals. This is one way of scaling up your cooking effort. You cook once and have a few different tasting meals.
