I'M COOKING FOR NEXT WEEK. CHECK WHAT'S ON THE STOVE FOODIES!
This meal is easier to make than to write a post about it. Even an intro takes more time. So why are we wasting the time? Let’s get rolling Foodies!
Nothing like a fresh salad with an interesting twist. Bring in some crunch from the toasted pita bread and vivid colors from the tomatoes and green leaves topped with the mind-blowing taste of chopped mint and cilantro. All these beautiful elements put and assembled by the heart-healthy extra-virgin olive oil. Let’s get greening Foodies!
I always wanted to learn how to prepare a steak at home. And this time I was more than happy. The recipe has been inspired by the amazing book by Kenjiz Lopez ‘The Food Lab’. This meal is not the leanest and definitely belongs to non-compliant category but what life would be without a treat once in a while, right? Remember that deprivation is the biggest risk in consistent healthy life style. Plus this meal was fortified with a huge salad, brussels sprouts and green beans. I am not saying this is an excuse to have this not the leanest cut of beef. But I also shared this with my beloved wifey so the damage to my six pack has been cut in half.
Let’s get grilling Foodies!
Another day, another cheesecake variety. Always about variety. Just adding a little bit of peanut butter makes this cheesecake peanut butterish in a good way. Tastes perfect after an exhausting workout session and goes perfectly with a short, strong espresso. Let’s get desserting Foodies!
Just the eggs. So no big deal but enhanced with fresh spinach to make it healthy and enriched with 4 slices of authentic Spanish chorizo sausage for making it taste like the real thing.

Life is so much better nowadays. I can not believe how many people follow diets in the classic way. Deprivation for a period of whatever but usually a month or so before they blow it all. WorkWeekFoodie is diet-agnostic. It’s about enjoying food with nutrients but sometimes I like to break all the rules. This recipe is exactly doing this. Let’s get breaking Foodies!
